The Director, Integration & Project Management operates under the direction and oversight of the Chief Integration Officer & SVP of Operations and serves as a key execution partner assisting with driving the successful delivery of integration strategy, enterprise initiatives, and the project portfolio. This role functions as an extension of integration leadership, ensuring disciplined execution, alignment, and operationalization of priorities across the organization.
The Director is responsible for leading PMO execution and supporting integration activities across the full M&A lifecycle, ensuring standardized methodologies, effective coordination, and consistent delivery aligned with organizational goals

PMO Leadership & Governance
- Assist with leading & supporting Project Management Office (PMO) function ensuring alignment with enterprise integration strategy and organizational priorities.
- Establish, implement, and enforce PMO governance, including project intake, prioritization, resource planning, and portfolio oversight to ensure disciplined execution across all initiatives.
- Develop and standardize project management methodologies, tools, templates, and reporting structures to drive consistency and scalability across the organization.
- Maintain visibility into the enterprise project portfolio, ensuring alignment across integration initiatives, operational projects, and strategic priorities.
- Oversee executive-level reporting, including dashboards, status updates, and governance materials for senior leadership and steering committees.
- Provide direct leadership, oversight, and development of the PMO team, including Project Managers and integration resources ensuring accountability, and promoting a culture of ownership, collaboration, and execution excellence across all project teams.
Integration Execution
- Assist with development of integration plans and coordination of integration activities across the full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close execution and stabilization for the different deal types (i.e. Tuck-ins, Acquihires, Full Acquisition, Strategic Partnerships)
- Partner closely with Corporate Development to support the transition from deal execution to integration, ensuring a seamless handoff and continuity of planning.
- Assist with development and execution of cross-functional integration plans across all key workstreams (e.g., IT, RCM, HR, Finance, Clinical, Operations).
- Ensure alignment of integration milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across all stakeholders and functional teams.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks, issues, and interdependencies that may impact integration success, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Standardize integration workflows, communication plans, and reporting frameworks across all acquisitions and enterprise initiatives.
- Assist with development and continuous improvement of integration playbooks, SOPs, and PMO frameworks to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
Strategic Alignment
- Collaborate with executive leadership, functional heads, and market leaders to align integration priorities with broader organizational goals.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing clear, data-driven insights on project and integration performance.
- Drive alignment across PMO and Integration Management Office (IMO) functions to ensure consistent, coordinated execution across the enterprise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field required
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in project management, healthcare merger integration, operations, or consulting, with demonstrated leadership within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment.
- Proven experience leading and executing initiatives across the full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-close execution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, enterprise-wide initiatives in a matrixed organization.
- Experience establishing or managing PMO governance, methodologies, tools, and reporting frameworks.
- Strong financial acumen with experience tracking budgets, integration costs, and synergy realization.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.
