ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join a well-established, engineering-driven software consultancy known for its collaborative, politics-free culture built on lean principles and self-organisation. You'll help build fluid, responsive user interfaces and resilient backend services for multiple platforms, solving complex technical problems to world-class standards. Occasional travel (0-15% of your time) may be required depending on the project and client needs.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You'll be embedded in a team responsible for the full software delivery lifecycle — from local development through to production — working on asynchronous, event-driven workflows and modern cloud-native services. The role spans both frontend and backend, requiring strong fundamentals across the stack, a testing-first mindset, and curiosity about containerization and modern DevOps practices. You'll work within agile teams (Scrum/Kanban), contributing to a codebase that prioritizes performance, security, and resilience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks: React, Next.js, Node.js
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and CDK/Serverless
• Solid knowledge of HTTP, REST, and/or GraphQL architectural patterns
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and data structures
• Working knowledge of Git in a continuous delivery process
• Experience writing semantic, accessible HTML
• Comfortable using code quality tools (linters, type checkers, static analysers)
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Fluent in English (required)

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience mentoring or supporting less senior engineers
• Prior experience in a consultancy or client-facing engineering environment

Compensation: €2,300 – €2,900/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
