micro1 is engaging Finnish Transcription Experts to contribute to an impactful customer project focused on language technology. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work:

1. Transcribe Finnish audio recordings with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
2. Annotate, segment, or label linguistic data according to project-specific guidelines.
3. Review and validate transcriptions from other contributors, ensuring consistency and high standards.
4. Identify and flag ambiguities, dialectal variations, or unclear audio for further analysis.
5. Document transcription challenges and contribute suggestions for guideline improvements.
6. Collaborate effectively via written and verbal communication to clarify requirements and resolve questions.
7. Deliver completed assignments within the agreed-upon project timelines and milestones.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Native-level proficiency in Finnish, with a strong grasp of regional dialects and colloquial language.
2. Proven experience in transcription, linguistics, or language-related projects.
3. Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work.
4. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
5. Ability to understand, interpret, and follow complex linguistic or project guidelines.
6. Responsive, proactive contributor who thrives in a remote, collaborative setting.
7. Familiarity with transcription platforms, linguistic annotation tools, or language datasets is a plus.
