The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience developing custom WordPress solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites.
  • Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on business requirements.
  • Convert Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD designs into responsive WordPress websites.
  • Customize existing themes while following WordPress coding standards.
  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, SEO-friendly, secure, and optimized for speed.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
  • Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and performance problems.
  • Implement website security best practices and perform regular updates.
  • Optimize Core Web Vitals and improve overall website performance.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
  • Manage website backups, migrations, staging environments, and deployments.
  • Maintain website documentation and version control.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, REST API, and Gutenberg.
  • Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types (CPT), and custom taxonomies.
  • Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders.
  • Knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Experience with website performance optimization and caching.
  • Understanding of website security and WordPress best practices.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
