This is a remote position.

Pinwheel Health is looking for compassionate, dedicated Associate Therapists to work with youth and families in an innovative, evidence-based care virtual clinic with a learning and development component for clinicians working toward their licensure.

  • Deliver weekly evidence-based virtual therapy interventions to youth ages 6-17
  • Provide support for caregivers and family involvement as needed
  • Utilize standardized assessment measures and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions for depression, anxiety, and trauma
  • CBT trainings, treatment protocols, assessment tools, and clinical supervision available to providers in the Pinwheel platform
  • Monitor client progress through treatment goals and assessments
  • Document assessments, treatment plans, and session notes promptly
  • Participate in individual or group supervision

Pinwheel’s mission is to ensure every child, teen, and family has access to evidence-based behavioral health care delivered by dedicated, specialized pediatric clinicians. Pinwheel welcomes, trains, and develops new clinicians into this critical workforce while delivering the highest quality care backed by decades of research.

We provide virtual, technology enabled treatment to children and adolescents ages 6-17 coping with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Pinwheel providers use proven modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and measure progress along the way.

Our vision is to create sustainable access to trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral health care for children and families through fostering the next generation of highly trained pediatric clinicians.

Requirements

  • ​Masters degree in Clinical Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
  • LCSW or MHC-A in Rhode Island
  • Experience working with youth or delivering CBT a plus
  • Tech savvy and enthusiastic about digital health tools
  • Must have or be willing to obtain professional liability insurance
  • English language proficiency; Spanish a plus and other languages welcome
