Accountant

eCarsTradeis an online remarketing platform for used cars. We primarily purchase cars from leasing companies and sell them to small and medium-sized car dealers across Europe. The company is experiencing very healthy growth, and to support this, we are looking for an Accountant.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for booking purchase and sales invoices, customer deposits, and credit notes;
• Preparingand following up on payments is part of your extensive range of duties;
• You are in contact with suppliersensuring efficient follow-up.
• You manage customer and supplier balances.
• You handle the booking of financial and payroll transactions.
• You provide support with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks such as payroll, inventory, reporting, monthly closing, etc.
• You are able to independently optimize and automate accounting processes;
• Experience with calculating inventory valueat month-end closing is a major plus.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Accountancy or equivalent through previous work experience;
• You are socially oriented and have strong communication skills;
• A pleasant and collegial working atmosphereis of great importance to you;
• You can work independently and have a proactivework ethic, but enjoy working as part of a team;
• You work correctly, punctually, and accurately;
• 5 years of experience in a similar role is a major asset;
