Bookkeeper and Accountant

Count myAccount provides tax, accounting, and payroll services to individuals and small businesses across Canada - one accountable team, clear steps, no surprises.

We are hiring Bookkeepers and Accountants as year-round independent contractors. You manage a portfolio of small-business clients on our platform: monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations, GST/HST filings, payroll runs, and year-end working papers. Steady monthly work, fully remote, and you control your schedule.

How selection works: application review, a short phone conversation, an online assessment (about 60 minutes; includes brief webcam snapshots for integrity - your screen is never recorded), an interview, and references. Clear steps. No surprises.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Canadian small-business bookkeeping or accounting
• Confident in QuickBooks Online or Xero, GST/HST filings, and payroll
• Eligible to work in Canada as an independent contractor
• Reliable internet and a private, distraction-free workspace where client information stays confidential (PIPEDA)
• Year-round availability for monthly client work
