SAP HCM Consultant AMS (Remote, Cluj/Romania)

They are building a large, multidisciplinary SAP team to support global operations across Finance, Logistics, Production, and HR in Romania. Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Consultant to join the new Application Management Services (AMS) team. In this role, you will ensure smooth operations in SAP HCM (e.g., Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, Payroll), handle service requests, and contribute to process improvements.

You will work closely with colleagues from other SAP modules and have the chance to contribute to the setup of a global delivery hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for SAP HCM (PA, OM, Time, Payroll)
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests in line with SLAs
• Analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams (FI/CO, MM, SuccessFactors)
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, and smaller rollout projects
• Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base

Requirements

• 4+ years of SAP HCM experience in AMS/support
• Expertise in at least two HCM components (PA, OM, Time, Payroll)
• Familiarity with integration topics (FI/CO, SuccessFactors) is an advantage
• Fluent German is a big advantage
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven mindset
• Knowledge of S/4HANA HCM or SuccessFactors is a plus
