SAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems Consultant (PS)

This is a remote position.

KATBOTZ LLC is seeking an experiencedSAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems Consultant (PS)to support enterprise project management and ERP transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in project planning, budgeting, cost tracking, revenue recognition, resource management, capital projects, and project lifecycle management within SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

The consultant will work closely with project managers, finance teams, operations leaders, and cross-functional SAP teams to design, configure, test, and deploy SAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems solutions that enable effective project execution and financial control.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration

• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and gather business requirements.

• Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems processes including:

• Project Structures (WBS Elements)

• Project Planning and Scheduling

• Project Budgeting

• Cost Planning and Tracking

• Resource Planning

• Internal and External Project Costs

• Project Procurement Integration

• Milestone Billing

• Revenue Recognition

• Capital Investment Projects

• Project Settlement

• Project Reporting and Analytics

• Configure project profiles, coding structures, and financial controls.

Implementation & Delivery

• Participate in SAP Activate implementation projects.

• Prepare functional specifications and process documentation.

• Support project-related master data and migration activities.

• Execute unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Support cutover planning, deployment, and go-live activities.

Integration & Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with:

• Finance (FI)

• Controlling (CO)

• Procurement (MM)

• Manufacturing (PP)

• Sales (SD)

• Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management teams

• Ensure seamless integration between project execution and financial processes.

Support & Optimization

• Provide post-go-live support and hypercare.

• Troubleshoot project system and process issues.

• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.

• Support SAP quarterly cloud release assessments and testing.

• Drive adoption of SAP project management best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.

• 10+ years of SAP PS consulting experience.

• Minimum 2 SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation projects.

• Strong expertise in:

• Project Structures (WBS)

• Project Budgeting

• Cost Planning & Tracking

• Project Settlement

• Capital Projects

• Revenue Recognition

• Resource Planning

• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.

• Experience conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops.

• Strong understanding of project accounting and project lifecycle management.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Certification in Project Systems or Finance.

• Experience with:

• Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM)

• Professional Services Projects

• Capital Investment Management

• SAP Analytics Cloud

• SAP Fiori Applications

• Embedded Analytics

• Experience supporting global and multi-country implementations.

• Experience in engineering, construction, utilities, manufacturing, energy, or professional services industries.
