What We're Researching
We are running a paid study on the software and workflows used in modern building design. Understanding how professionals draft, iterate, and finalize their concepts is critical for improving next-generation tools. Your insights will directly inform the development of more intuitive and efficient drafting environments.
How It Works
During a remote video session, you will walk us through your current tech stack and how you approach complex design phases. We will share several early prototypes of new design tools and ask you to react to their functionality. You will explain what works well, identify friction points, and discuss how these concepts compare to your existing workflow. Expect an interactive conversation focused on your day-to-day drafting habits.
Who This Is For
We are looking for practicing architects who actively use digital design software in their daily work. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience managing end-to-end building projects, from initial sketches to final blueprints. We welcome commercial architects, residential architects, and architectural designers who understand complex project workflows.

Explain how you manage transitions between different phases of a design project.
Who Should Apply
Currently practicing as a professional architect or architectural designer.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard building design software.
Familiar with managing complex drafting and modeling workflows.
Comfortable providing constructive feedback on early software prototypes.
