Position: Legal Reviewer — Document QC
Type:Contract
Compensation:$60/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Create rubrics to grade legal documents that are understandable by laymen.
- Review processed legal documents against a written QC rubric to ensure correct handling of identifying and sensitive elements.
- Flag and categorize defects, escalating ambiguous cases for adjudication.
- Work across various document types, including commercial contracts, IP agreements, and tax filings.
- Ensure precision and consistency in high-volume review work.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Qualified lawyer with 3+ years' post-qualification experience.
- Comfort moving across many document types.
- Demonstrable precision and consistency on high-volume review work.
- Able to follow and improve a written protocol.
Preferred
- Experience in managed document review, e-discovery, contract management, or data privacy.
