Position: Chemical Engineering Expert
Type:Contract
Compensation:$65–$90/hour
Location:Remote
Commitment:10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate written content and AI-generated responses in chemical engineering for accuracy and quality.
- Answer questions and provide clear, well-reasoned feedback based on professional experience.
- Identify useful reference material relevant to chemical engineering.
- Share insights into chemical engineering tools, workflows, and standards.
- Collaborate with other subject-matter experts across different fields.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Degree-qualified chemical engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the US.
- 2+ years of professional chemical engineering experience in areas like process design, process safety, or plant operations.
- Familiarity with process safety standards (e.g., OSHA PSM, API) and process simulation tools (Aspen, MATLAB).
- Comfortable using everyday AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT).
- Based in the United States.
- Professional working English.
- Able to commit reliably to about 10 hours per week.
Preferred
- Experience writing process documentation, SOPs, or technical training material.
