We are building an AI-native Technology Division focused on leveraging artificial intelligence, automation, and cloud infrastructure to transform how businesses operate. We are seeking an AI Platform Developer to help build, maintain, and enhance our AI-powered solutions.

Position Summary

The AI Platform Developer will work closely with the Senior Solutions Architect to support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Exemplar's AI-powered applications and platforms. This role requires a hands-on builder who is passionate about AI technologies, software development, and creating innovative solutions that solve real business problems.

This position is fully remote within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

AI Platform Development

• Develop, maintain, and enhance AI-powered applications and workflows.
• Build integrations with CRM systems, calendars, communication tools, and other third-party platforms.
• Improve AI agent performance through prompt engineering, tool integrations, and workflow optimization.
• Evaluate new AI models and technologies for potential implementation.

Application Development

• Build and maintain applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop new features and enhancements based on business and client needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and ongoing platform improvements.

Platform Operations & Support

• Monitor application performance and system health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Assist with cloud deployments, updates, and security maintenance.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Innovation & Collaboration

• Stay current on advancements in AI, automation, and cloud technologies.
• Participate in product planning and solution design discussions.
• Collaborate closely with leadership, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute ideas for new capabilities and platform enhancements.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience building applications using AI technologies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with React, Next.js, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
• Experience integrating APIs and third-party software platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred

• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience building AI agents, automation tools, or workflow solutions.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and large language models.
• Experience in SaaS, professional services, legal technology, financial services, or B2B software environments.
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth company.
