Staking Facilities is a well established blockchain infrastructure company with more than 9 years of history. We operate critical 24/7/365 high-performance bare-metal private infrastructure. We operate clusters for the backbone of the most scalable blockchains today. We manage the whole stack internally including our own network (private fiber network around Europe), custom built servers and bespoke software components for the future of Web 3 and Internet Capital Markets.

Tasks

What you would do

Operate validator node, ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of our Solana infrastructure & operations, with tasks including, but not limited to

  • Ensure continuous operation of our Solana systems, perform updates
  • Monitoring and performance tuning
  • Ability to proactively seek new avenues for extending and speeding up setup in the Solana ecosystem
  • Automate node deployment, operations via Ansible and Terraform
  • Collaborate with traders, to help them with infrastructure performance
  • Be involved in the communication with our partners
  • Be part of our on-call duty rotation
  • Learn, grow and peek beyond your current role

Requirements

What we are looking for

We are looking for a Solana Systems Engineer with strong knowledge of computer systems and networks, passion for blockchain & decentralization. You must have an eye for detail, because even a millisecond matters. Our team has a natural drive to maintain and develop our presence in the everchanging Solana ecosystem.

  • Strong Linux skills and system engineering skills. Solana validator skills are very welcome.
  • Fluency in English (Deutsch ist ein Plus)
  • Proven ability to design and critically think about system architecture
  • Background in Computer Science/Distributed Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • Willingness to travel once in a while to meet the team in person and visit conferences
