Role Title: Workflow Annotator — Product Management & Marketing
Role Type: Contractor

micro1 is engaging Workflow Annotator — Product Management & Marketing professionals to participate in a unique project for a customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Design and document authentic, multi-step product management and marketing workflows reflecting real practices in collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
- Execute each workflow directly in the respective platforms, meticulously capturing each action, decision point, and outcome.
- Integrate adjacent tools into scenarios where appropriate — for example, referencing a Slack thread, a shared Google Doc, or pulling metrics from Snowflake to enrich workflow realism.
- Create clear and concise workflow documentation for annotation on Agora, including step-by-step sequences, intent behind actions, expected deliverables, and helpful visuals.
- Identify and flag ambiguous or unrealistic scenarios, collaborating with the data program team to refine and iterate workflows based on feedback.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all submissions, prioritizing realism and clarity over speed.
- Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure documentation is easily understandable by annotators not present for the original workflow execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in product management, product marketing, or growth/marketing roles, with frequent use of Slack and either Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- Demonstrated ability to craft business-critical documents such as PRDs, briefs, trackers, roadmaps, and executive readouts.
- Proven experience coordinating across functions and documenting complex, multi-tool processes clearly and thoroughly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, structured documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity for a diverse audience.
- Familiarity with product analytics or business intelligence tools (e.g., Amplitude, Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Exposure to basic SQL, Snowflake, or GitHub issue management is desirable but not required.
