iOS

Arise is a globally active weight-loss app with over 8 million downloads and a 4.7 rating on the App Store. Our mission is simple but ambitious: empower millions of people to become healthier and happier.
We’re looking for an experienced iOS developer who thrives on ownership, precision, and long-term thinking. This role is for someone who can not only deliver high-quality code today but also foresee how decisions made now will impact our app in the months and years ahead—technically, strategically, and financially.
If you excel at structured, autonomous work, understand the importance of monetization, and want to build features used by millions, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Role

  • Own the iOS codebase—maintain, optimize, and ensure it’s future-proof.
  • Develop and test features that enhance the Arise app experience.
  • Anticipate potential technical pitfalls and proactively design solutions.
  • Collaborate with design to refine usability for a smooth user experience.
  • Align with Android developers to ensure cross-platform consistency, when the time comes.
  • Support monetization strategies by integrating features with measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Middle 2+ Level Developer with proven track record.
  • Minimum 4 years of iOS development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Comfortable working fully in English.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Swift.
  • Experience with Cocoapods and Fastlane.
  • Solid understanding of Apple design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

Why You’ll Love Working with Us

  • High autonomy: own your work from idea to release.
  • Clear decision-making with minimal bureaucracy—no “meetings that should have been emails.”
  • Work with the newest hardware and technologies.
  • Flexible, remote-first role (full-time).
  • Paid annual leave.
  • Direct collaboration with founders and management—your work will have visible impact.

How to Apply

Send us your application including:

  • Your CV
  • A history of your developed iOS apps
  • Salary expectations
  • (Optional) Code samples or GitHub repositories

Help us build and refine a product that runs like a well-oiled machine—and improves millions of lives in the process.

Before you apply

  • Confirm async-friendly culture vs daily standup-heavy expectations
  • Ask about on-call rotation and incident expectations
  • Check the tech stack matches what you actually want to use day-to-day
